Kompakt
A label the Ninja keeps in rotation, and the artists on it.
85 records in rotation · 615 plays on air
With eighty-four tracks in rotation and an average Ninja score of 8.3, Kompakt operates at the intersection of house, techno, deep house and italo-disco, threading nu-disco sheen and progressive structures into a coherent, floor-focused catalogue. The presence of Jurgen Paape, Robag Wruhme and Rex The Dog alongside Joyce Muniz, Agents Of Time and Rainbow Arabia confirms a roster that balances melodic drive with dance floor utility.
In the underground, the label sits as a refined voice in accessible electronic music: never fully mainstream, yet too polished and melody-focused to be raw warehouse fare. It is a staple for selectors who want emotion and momentum without sacrificing groove, proving that nu-disco warmth and techno discipline can share the same room.
