Text Records operates in the slipstream between the dancefloor and the headphone zone, threading deep house and minimal techno through ambient and experimental passages. With Four Tet, Burial and Fred again.. rubbing shoulders with Brian Eno, Hagop Tchaparian and RamonPang, the catalogue favours texture and atmosphere over rigid genre fidelity, earning a strong 8.2 average across twenty-six cuts.
In the underground, it functions less like a traditional imprint and more like a curated signal: downtempo meditations sit comfortably alongside minimal techno and deep house experiments, reflecting a sensibility that prizes emotion and abstraction in equal measure. At an 8.2 ninja score across twenty-six tracks, Text is essential listening for selectors who want depth without predictability.
