Fields Of Mist

The project threads a misty line between dub techno depth and straighter Ilian Tape techno propulsion, letting ambient passages dilute the pressure before the low-end returns with hypnotic insistence. Eight cuts in rotation show a range that favours patience over peak-time bombast, earning an 8.4 average by keeping the mood immersive and tightly controlled rather than confrontational. On Ilian Tape, the sound sits comfortably in the label’s textured underground—too driving for pure ambient, too gauzy for hard club tools, yet precise enough to bridge both worlds without losing its fog-laden identity.
