The kick lands with a measured, almost funereal weight at 120 BPM, yet the energy is unyielding, a nine-out-of-ten throb that brooks no hesitation. In the key of B minor, those elegiac pads and spectral arpeggios feel less like hooks and more like fog rolling across a barely-lit floor, every frequency polished to a tears-on-the-dancefloor sheen.
Life And Death’s pedigree demands a certain cinematic patience, and this sits perfectly as a cresting mid-set anchor—too driving for the warm-up, too sorrowful for peak-time abandon. It builds a room where bodies sway rather than sprint, locked into a hypnotic, minor-key lament that only Recondite could shape with such austere conviction.
