The kick lands with a low-slung, deliberate thud at 118 BPM, dragging the tempo just below the sprint line so pressure accumulates rather than releases. To my ears, that energy rating of nine is earned through sheer density—every chord swells like condensation on a window, and the 5A key keeps the tonal centre anchored in a greyscale that never breaks for sunlight.
I'd drop this in that precarious pocket where the floor is fully committed but not yet frantic; it builds tension by refusing to accelerate. The fog of the title is literal in the mix: pads bleed into one another, percussion submerges, and the room slowly feels smaller, warmer, more humid. It is less a banger than a suffocating embrace—peak-time weight dressed in deep-listening clothes.
