down.

With nine cuts currently in rotation and a respectable 7.9 average, down. clearly favours the deeper, more hypnotic end of electronic music. Its catalogue threads together deep techno, deep house and downtempo, letting artists like thea & schtu, Planet Caravan and codenzi explore restrained, progressive-tinged textures that favour immersion over impact.

K2W0, NUAH and Geplantes Nichtstun reinforce that after-hours ethos, operating in the hazy overlap between rolling house grooves and subdued, progressive-tinged techno. The result is a label that sits comfortably in the contemporary underground: too sleek for the mainstream, too rhythmic for pure ambient, and consistently worth keeping in the bag.
