Y

Across eight tracks, y drifts through a liminal electronic space where downtempo murk meets the rigid pulse of techno and industrial. The vaporwave tint adds a corroded, nostalgic sheen to the low-end structures, blurring tempo and texture without sacrificing dancefloor weight.

The label spread—Underyourskin Records, Bass Agenda Recordings, and Take Notes—maps an underground trajectory that favours depth over commercial polish. An 8.2 average reflects consistent quality across this broad range, situating y squarely in the grey area between hypnotic slowdown and mechanised rhythm.
