The Dam (The Field Remix)

The Field strips this down to its marrow: a 105-bpm pulse in 11A that refuses to hurry, letting F# minor gloom pool beneath cycling, crystalline loops. At energy level nine, the pressure is constant but controlled—less a drop than a slow flood, where each layer of melodic techno seeps into the next until the room feels humid with tension.

It sits in that liminal zone where ambient drift becomes body music; I’d slot it after midnight when the floor needs breathing room but not a release. The minimalism never meanders—every loop is a deliberate step, pulling dancers into a locked, forward-leaning sway that makes 105 feel inexorable rather than slow.
