Wild Animals (Tim Engelhardt Remix)

Engelhardt steers this remix along a lean, muscular frame, letting the 128 BPM pulse drive forward with the inevitability of a night bus through empty streets. Everything sits in that midnight register of 6A, where minor-key pads swell and recede without ever tipping into melodrama; the energy is sky-high, yet the execution remains surgical, each hi-hat and sub-bass throb placed with exacting precision.

In the mix, this is the record you reach for when the floor is already lit but you want to keep brains engaged as well as feet. It functions as a peak-time anchor, its club-credible thrust refusing cheap fireworks in favour of sustained, hypnotic pressure. The lush sound design fills the room without cluttering it, making this a textbook example of how melodic techno can feel both intimate and massive.
