Johannes Heil keeps the pressure valve sealed tight across "Tryptamine", letting the 125 BPM frame ride with mechanical inevitability while the 5A key signature drapes everything in cold, fluorescent shadow. It is pure peak-time minimal techno: every hi-hat ticks like a countdown, and the energy rating of ten is fully earned, not through cheap tricks but via a claustrophobic, psychedelic density that swarms the senses.
This is a record for the strobe-lit apex of the night, dropped when the room is already delirious and needs no hand-holding. Herzblut’s palette suits it perfectly—there is sentiment buried beneath the austerity, but the track’s primary mission is propulsion. It sits best as a bridge between rolling grooves and full-blown warehouse hysteria, demanding a system loud enough to let its hypnotic frequencies colonise the walls.
