The Ninja on this record
At 143 BPM in the minor tension of 4A, the pressure is immediate. An energy rating of ten is not hyperbole here; this is music for strobe-lit 4 AM moments where the kick feels like it is vibrating through my chest. The texture is deliberately raw, all metallic percussion and unpolished propulsion, dragging the floor into a state of flesh-melting hypnosis.
In my set, it sits at the absolute peak, a weapon for floors already at boiling point. Yet I hear a tasteful restraint in its relentlessness; rather than simply bludgeoning, it locks the room into a suffocating, seductive chokehold. I would drop this when the crowd is primed and I need to shove them over the edge without snapping the groove.
