I hear this 120-BPM, 10B cut on Technicolour as a deliberate reframing of Deep House into something more viscous and cerebral; Dauwd lets the energy sit at a fierce nine without resorting to obvious peak-time fireworks. The rhythm carries a weighted, almost tectonic patience—each kick lands like warm asphalt settling, cushioned by distinctive sound design that privileges texture over blunt force.
For me, it is the late-night emotional pull that seals the record: synths smoulder rather than soar, weaving a humid, leftfield cocoon tailor-made for the foggy hours when a room’s consciousness narrows to a single shared pulse. I’d slot this between heads-down introspection and bodily necessity, a reminder that high energy does not always demand high drama.
