So Tired of Waiting (Bah Samba Live)

The drums land with a human swing at 125 BPM, refusing the rigid grid in favour of something that actually breathes. I can hear the air in the room—warm tones and live instrumentation pushing against a nine-out-of-ten charge that somehow feels intimate rather than explosive. It is jazzdance in spirit, deep house in pulse, and the melody coils around me like smoke at last call.

In my sets, this is the moment the room exhales without losing momentum. I’d slot it perfectly after tougher peak-time fare, letting the crowd remember there are real musicians behind the machines. That late-night emotional pull is undeniable; the energy stays sky-high, but the texture is all velvet and sorrow. Loaded has given me a record that works the floor and the feelings in equal measure.
