At 120 BPM, this Church cut locks into a steady, breathing pocket that feels faster than the tempo suggests, largely because the energy is cranked to absolute capacity. I hear warm, organic fibres—jazzy chord voicings and rubbery bass—that keep the 9B minor-key palette from ever turning cold or mechanical. It is deep house with its collar loosened yet its pulse racing, every element given room to swell.
In my bag, this is the record I reach for when the room needs a ten-out-of-ten lift without a cheap drop. That tasteful after-hours sensibility means it glows rather than blares, making it perfect for those 4 AM moments when the floor is too locked in for peak-time bombast but still hungry for momentum. I would slot it right on the border between hypnosis and propulsion.
