At 115 bpm, this is slow-burning deep house that swaps peak-time bombast for something sinuous and slightly wrong. The energy vitals say ten, yet Hot Pot diverts that current into warmth, not warfare—off-kilter pads and organic percussion wobble rather than stomp, and the 12A key keeps the mood shadowy but supple, letting the quirks breathe without curdling.
I reach for it when the after-hours floor has thinned and the remaining bodies favour conversation, not concussion. On a rig with air in the lows, the groove expands to fill the room with a leftfield bounce that feels hand-rolled rather than machined. A curveball for the crate, never the charts.
