The Ninja on this record
Liquid Level locks into a 120 BPM hypnosis that feels less like a tempo and more like a controlled respiration rate, each exhale thick with dub-techno condensation. The energy reads at a ten, yet it arrives wrapped in warm, organic textures that soften the blow without dulling the edge; it is relentless but never brittle, the 11A key centre glowing like embers beneath the kick.
On a deeper floor, this is the record that bridges the warm-up and the peak without collapsing into cliché. It builds a room of smoked glass and low ceilings, a pocket where the groove can stretch indefinitely. I would slot it after something skeletal and before the chaos—an anchor that pulls bodies downward while the mind stays aloft.
