At 122 BPM, Refracted locks the floor into a slow, suffocating grind that feels far heavier than the tempo implies, largely because the energy is pushed to absolute maximum through sheer tension rather than peaks. The 4A key keeps everything rooted in minor-key dread, with deep, hypnotic motifs circling endlessly and tightening around the room like a vice.
This is a record built for the final hours, when the crowd has thinned to true believers and the system can stretch out. On a respected imprint like Kina, it makes perfect sense: the track carries a strong identity despite its functional, almost anonymous title, sliding into a set as a bridging weapon that never lets the temperature drop. It moves like smoke through concrete—heavy, invisible, and impossible to ignore.
