The Ninja on this record
At a steady 120 BPM in 7A, this cut hits with the kind of full-bore momentum that makes a soundsystem earn its keep. The energy is dialled all the way up, yet the groove stays loose and musical, letting the low-end breathe while percussive elements tick and sway with an almost live-band fluidity. It is the sort of deep house that does not politely ask for movement; it assumes it.
In my bag, it belongs squarely in the thick of a peak-time set, bridging the gap between heads-down hypnosis and hands-up release. The Desolat stamp guarantees a certain floor-filling authority, and here the pair channel that into a spacious, Panorama Bar-sized anthem. I would drop it when the room is already slippery and watch the thing expand.
