At a deceptive 130 BPM, this sits in that liminal pocket where downtempo meditation meets the dancefloor’s edge. Aanya Martin’s vocal threads through the production with a soulful grain that keeps the energy at a deliberate 5, never rushing the groove but always pushing forward in the key of 6A. The rhythm breathes; melodic fragments drift through a room that feels smaller than it is, intimate yet propulsive.
In a set, this is the pivot point: too fast for ambient lulls, too restrained for peak-time bombast. It belongs in the leftfield hours, its organic warmth unfolding patiently. The Ninja Tune pedigree is audible in every carefully placed detail. It does not demand attention; it earns it, layering texture until the floor leans in collectively.
