The Ninja on this record
At 125 BPM, Soul Hunter moves with the disciplined stride of peak-time tech house refitted for the melodic after-hours. The energy sits at a relentless nine, yet the 9B key keeps everything tethered to a bruised gravity—there is lift, but never without shadow. Synths arc overhead like searchlights while the kick maintains a merciless, metronomic grip on the floor.
This is a record for the 4 AM pivot: lean enough to slip into a rolling set, yet possessed of that Herzblut pedigree which demands attention. It does not break pace; it accumulates. In the booth, I would let it breathe between two more cathartic cuts, allowing its high-tension 9B drive to tighten the room like a vice.
