The Ninja on this record
The tempo lands at that sweet 136-BPM pocket where UK garage swing meets techno muscle, and Kassian exploits it ruthlessly. Snares crack with palpable urgency befitting an energy of eight, while the low-end rumbles with club weight that never smothers the melody; every pad and vocal fragment breathes through the mix with Ninja Tune polish.
Locked in 10A, the harmonic pull carries a dusky, leftfield tint that keeps the floor immersed even as bodies move. It is the sort of record you reach for when bridging melodic electronica into peak-time territory—familiar enough to comfort, kinetic enough to ignite.
