The Ninja on this record
I hear a record locked at 125 BPM in 8A that strides with disciplined, four-on-the-floor precision straight toward peak-time sweat. The vocal hook rides a polished, accessible house framework with an energy level of 9, pushing the room into unrelenting, hands-up euphoria without ever threatening to derail my mix.
To my ears, it is the sort of utilitarian club weapon that slots neatly between tougher techno cuts and more soulful warm-up fare, its minor-key undercurrent adding just enough grit to offset the glossy, hook-led sheen. For the floor, it is immediate and effective; for my crate, it is reliable rather than revelatory.
