The Ninja on this record
Locked in 4B, the harmonic haze hangs like smoke at three in the morning, a perfect match for the 103-bpm tempo that refuses to rush. Ebbb lets the beat breathe in that mid-energy pocket, all blurred samples and muffled kicks creating a cloud-rap drift that feels more like a weighted blanket than a club weapon.
It belongs at the very end of a set, when the lights are dim and the floor needs space to unravel. There is no urgency here—just a slow, emotional sway that fills the room without demanding movement, a melodic after-hours sigh that Ninja Tune has clearly curated for the heads still locked in conversation with the night.
