The Ninja on this record
At 125, cuthat keeps the tempo strict but the mood supple, threading a warm, hypnotic minimal groove through the dead-of-night hours. The energy registers high, yet the restraint is surgical: every texture breathes, locking 5A's minor-key tension into a rolling, club-credible chassis that never breaks a sweat.
It is the sort of record you reach for when the floor is already locked and the lights are low—precise enough for the booth, loose enough to let bodies sway. The distinctive sound design fills the room without cluttering it, making this less a peak-time weapon than a deep-set navigator for those final, precious hours before dawn.
