Kids on Fire (Lorikeet Remix)

Lorikeet pushes this remix to a dizzying 207 BPM, yet rather than accelerating into peak-time mania, the energy is funnelled into a claustrophobic, leftfield churn that feels better suited to locking in bleary-eyed heads than raising hands. The deep techno framework smoulders in key 9B, all sub-bass pressure and flickering percussive detail, creating a humid, after-hours room where movement becomes reflex rather than celebration.

It is a functional, atmospheric tool—perfect for those transitional moments when the dancefloor needs propulsion without a melody to latch onto—but that same anonymity keeps it from earning a permanent place in the bag. I will reach for it when the night demands texture and tempo in equal measure, yet I suspect its fingerprints will fade by morning.
