I keep this one tucked in my crate for the comedown hours: at ninety-four BPM it drifts rather than drives, mapping A minor contours with a humid, neon-streaked patience that feels more empty underpass than crowded junction. The energy sits at a comfortable six—present enough to hold a room, yet restrained enough to let heads breathe beneath its canopy.
Mesh’s leftfield pedigree is audible in every carefully placed pad and melodic fragment; this is downtempo-leaning electronica dressed in jazz syntax, and I hear it as a tasteful bridge between the label’s experimental instincts and a cosmopolitan lounge sensibility. It will not ignite a floor, but when I drop it after midnight it functions as a refined palate-cleanser, letting my set exhale without losing momentum.
