The Ninja on this record
At 122 BPM in the key of 3A, I find this record wastes no time filling every corner of the room with a near-claustrophobic level-ten energy that somehow still feels airy. The melodic architecture stacks layer upon layer of synthesised warmth, creating a vast, vocal-free horizon that relies entirely on tension and release rather than lyrical anchors.
In my sets, it functions as a peak-time bridge between tougher techno and more sentimental prog, its accessible backbone keeping bodies locked while the atmosphere swells overhead. I’d drop this after midnight when the floor needs elevation without aggression; the 3A tonality cuts cleanly through a system, and that relentless ten-out-of-ten drive ensures no one drifts towards the bar.
