The Ninja on this record
When the 128 BPM pulse hits, I am locked in immediately; Rodrigues strips the frame to rusted coils and rubberised percussion, letting the 12B tonality glint like a blade under strobe. The energy is relentless but surgical—no cheap peaks, just a piston-like churn that sucks the air out of the room and keeps bodies locked in sway.
To my ears, this is a 3 AM weapon, bridging deeper minimal currents with the rawer fringe of the floor. At energy 9 it demands movement yet never spills into chaos, making it ideal for tightening the tension before a major drop or riding out the final hours when only the most dogged hypnotics matter.
