At 128 BPM in 5A, this cut doesn't bludgeon; it coils. The energy is sky-high, yet Rodrigues channels it into a lean, hypnotic grid where every melodic phrase feels purposefully placed. I hear an emotive undercurrent running beneath the minimal techno architecture, lending the groove a rare sense of narrative rather than mere function.
In my sets, I would slot this as a bridge between peak-time pressure and something more cerebral—its strong identity refusing to dissolve into anonymous fodder. The texture is taut and breathable, building a room that feels simultaneously intimate and immense. I would drop this when the floor is hungry but still needs to feel something beyond the kick.
