Sydney Seymour’s remix of “Dukite” moves at a deceptive 102 BPM, loping rather than rushing, yet the energy is relentless—nine-tenths of full throttle stuffed into a mid-tempo chassis. There is a nocturnal drag to the key, that A-minor gloom, but the chillwave haze has been scorched away by leftfield pressure; what remains are these tactile, organic textures writhing beneath a surface that feels closer to industrial downtempo than beachside nostalgia.
In the mix, it belongs to that dangerous late-night hour when the floor is loose but still hungry for weight. It does not peak-time sprint; it hypnotises, locking bodies into a slow, heavy sway that sits perfectly between a warm-down and a hidden groove. I would slot it after something tougher to let the room breathe without deflating, or use it to pull a bar-stool crowd back onto the floor when they thought the night was finished.
