The Ninja on this record
The record moves at a deceptively leisurely hundred BPM, yet the energy level is relentless—every bar feels stuffed with kinetic pressure. Space Ghost layers tactile, leftfield deep house textures that refuse to settle into mere background fare; instead, the sound design wraps around the room like smoke, thick and luminous.
At key 6B, there is an unexpected brightness cutting through the low-end hypnosis, making it perfect for that fragile after-hours moment when the floor is sparse but the intent remains high. I would slot this after a peak-time curveball to let the room breathe without losing momentum entirely, letting Tartelet's distinctive warmth carry the last dancers home.
