At 133 BPM, this one rolls with a locked, hypnotic gait that sidesteps tech-house cliché in favour of dub's warm pressure. I hear the energy pegged at ten, yet Christou funnels it into restrained, dubby textures—sub-bass rumbles and metallic percussion that breathe rather than batter, keeping my floor locked in a swaying trance.
I'd drop this in the deep end of a set, where the room is thick with smoke and anticipation, and the key of C major lends a subtle, almost hopeful brightness beneath the murk. I can ride it for minutes without a break, letting its late-night pedigree weave through the crowd until the walls seem to pulse on their own.
