The Ninja on this record
At a steady 125 BPM, this cut hits with the full ten-out-of-ten force yet refuses to batter the floor into submission. The low-end rolls deep and true to its Deep House billing, while that central melodic hook spirals upward in key 5A with an earnest, almost devotional glow. It is the rare peak-time weapon that earns its euphoria rather than demanding it.
Dropped at the right moment, it functions as a bridge between heads-down rolling grooves and the kind of communal, hands-in-the-air release that defines a set's memory. It is accessible enough to win over the uninitiated, yet constructed with enough care to satisfy the crate-diggers. For me, that is the sweet spot Technicolour often chases, and here it lands squarely.
