The Ninja on this record
At 128 BPM, this sits in the pocket where house swing meets techno backbone. The energy level of 8 is delivered through a raw, rave-tinged texture that honours the R&S pedigree without feeling archival; in key 6B, the harmonics have a brightness that slices through muddy systems, letting the top-end shimmer while the low-end grinds.
In a set, it is the pivot between patience and peak-time: drop it as the night thickens and the room locks in. It constructs a spacious, tunnel-like atmosphere that rewards big stacks and dark corners, functioning less as a centrepiece and more as a momentum engine. Your calves will testify come Monday.
